“We had a wonderful stay at the farmhouse over Thanksgiving weekend. The house was spacious and easily accommodated two families. Everyone enjoyed the cozy fire in the fireplace (wood was provided), and we made full use of the large kitchen to cook all our meals. The dining table was perfect for our large group. “This was a quaint property that we had to rent on short notice because another owner double booked and had to use the Expedia guarantee. As such, we did not look at the listing as close as we should have. There was no TV or microwave, but the listing didn't say there was. "I like the staff at the front desk very much. Check-in is also very smooth, but the cleaning of the room is worrying. I was thirsty at night and drank only a little water left in my cup. I subconsciously glanced at the cup and then I woke up. There was a small cockroach in the cup. It was alive!!!! Then I couldn't sleep anymore. I checked my bed for cockroaches. It was terrible. And there were a lot of small cockroaches in the bathroom. I killed them before I went to bed. There were so many cockroaches in such a cold weather. This was obviously unusual. I knew that the price was already affordable. I didn't expect too much, but in the water Cockroaches really scared me. I can't imagine what would happen if I drank it. I hope the hotel manager should pay attention to this problem and can't imagine what the summer here will be like."
