“I have previously stayed at this location when it was operated as a bed and breakfast, this time it is only a lodging spot with complimentary drinks which was conveyed in the listing. The home is lovely and easily located in Orange, with quick access to many historical areas. While the Fenton is listed as having a bathroom, which it does, it is a tiny water closet at best. There is no standard size mirror or sink, the shower is also quite small. Overall, our stay was fine, but I did not like the……

“SPACIOUS AND COZY There were 2 king size beds, 4 sets of bunk beds, and a very comfy extra large couch. LOCATION Beautiful area. Lots of horse and cows within eye sight of the house. “Perfect location and space for a long weekend getaway! Visiting the area for an event at UVA, but decided to stay outside of the city to better explore the area. This was a perfect spot and amazing host to help us with dinner and recreation recommendations… so good!!! The “suite” was very private and everything we needed. “Nice, peaceful farmhouse with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Close to vineyards and quaint villages with great restaurants, however the best thing about it is its proximity to the Old Rag Mountain trailhead. If you're planning to do that hike, this home is just a short walk to the trailhead so you won't have to worry about the parking issues, and after the hike, the hot tub on the home's deck is heavenly! Wonderful place for a wonderful get away!”
