“The area around this property felt so scenic and tranquil. The set up of the property itself was pretty basic / minimalist, but it was as described and very reasonable for the price. Everything was in working order and the communication was good.”

“The property was nice, and we enjoyed the hot tub and the entrance from the hot tub to the bathroom. We felt there was good privacy, and the setting was nice for viewing the aurora (too bad we had heavy cloud cover while we were there). The property recommended a couple restaurants that were near-by and we loved Mika! ”

“We started our Iceland holiday with first 2 nights stay at cabin 5A. I’m glad we did as it set the bar really high and at the end of our 9 day trip, the family unanimously agreed this was our favourite accommodation in the entire trip! Cabin had everything we needed, extremely clean, hosts were v responsive, and being in open lands (yet near enough to nearby towns), we were treated to 2 nights of auroras when we were there!! The hot tub brought so much joy too, can’t wait to be back! ”

“We booked this cabin many months ago, before current construction projects began. Unfortunately, the view now is of a cluster of cabins being built in front of it. It was very disappointing since we booked it based on previous reviews. The view is what you count on when in Iceland, and this cabin no longer offers what we expected. We ended up leaving early and staying elsewhere.”

“Our one night stay at Landhotel was wonderful. From the moment we arrived everyone was super friendly and helpful. We stayed in April so the place was quiet and peaceful. The hotel feels very new and modern and is set away from all other ambient light sources, making it an ideal location for Northern Lights viewing. They took time to explain the amenities and dinner options. Our daughters have Celiac (gluten free) and they were great with food options for both dinner and breakfast including……
