“We stayed here for 2 nights during our trip in December. As there is no staff on site, the check-in instructions were sent in advance via email. The room was comfortable with good heating. The only issue we had was with the water pressure during the 2 days. It was abysmal. The property is a 15-minute drive from the Jökulsárlón glacier. The proximity helps when you are tired after doing a day's activity at the glacier. The room is quite spacious and has a couple of chairs and two tiny coffee……

“Location Location Location The guesthouse was a wonderful location to access the hiking trail to the glacier. We stayed in one of the two-unit bunk houses. The room was small but we enjoyed it. Despite the howling winds, we were cozy. Our main goal was to hike to the glacier. We were provided with a great breakfast for hiking. It offered an array of food options that left us ready for a morning long trek. The staff was excellent. This is a no frills option that was more than adequate for……
