“Two families traveling together found this home to be the perfect home base from which to up and down the Rhine to see castles, castles, vineyards, and more castles. This hillside house was very comfortable, featured a lovely terrace surrounded by grapevines. Situated in the small country village of Sauerthal if felt as though our visit brought the most excitement the townsfolk had seen in ages. This is a perfect location for visiting Rhineland if you want a quiet, rustic, authentic experience.”

“Wir buchten als 3 Paare und 2 Einzelpersonen 5 Zimmer, in dem Glauben, dass auch jeder ein eigenes abgeschlossenes Zimmer erhält, wie es beschrieben war. Leider mussten wir feststellen, dass eines der King-/Queensbett-Zimmer fehlte und damit verbunden ein ganzes Zimmer. Deshalb reiste leider einer unserer Freund ab. Was sehr schade war. Man kann aber die Couch im Wohnzimmer ausziehen oder sich Matratzen im Vorraum platzieren. Im Großen und Ganzen muss man aber sagen, dass dies ein sehr……

"We absolutely loved this wonderful hotel! The king bed was incredibly comfortable, and having two separate duvets meant we both slept like babies. The bathroom was so thoughtfully designed too – with dual sinks so we could get ready at the same time without bumping elbows! Little touches made it special: the bamboo/wooden toothbrushes and razors felt both eco-chic and luxurious, and our room’s sofa and chaise lounge were perfect for relaxing. But the breakfast? Oh, it was an absolute dream! Such a spread for every taste – and as a tea lover, I was over the moon seeing proper loose-leaf teas (not just basic tea bags!) displayed so beautifully. The quality was exceptional. The staff truly shone too! When we needed airport transport with four large suitcases, the gentleman at reception didn’t call two taxis – he found us one spacious cab that fit everything. That thoughtful gesture made us feel so cared for! Just one playful note about our shower’s color-changing lights – while dancing through rainbow hues felt like a fun disco shower (🎵), a simple warm glow might be cozier for evening unwinding! Still, it added a whimsical touch to our stay. Overall, a truly memorable experience we’d recommend in a heartbeat!"
