“Spent four days in Minocqua at the Knotty Barrel Lodge. I have been spending summers in Minocqua for 30 years, there is nothing like this place. Perfect location, walking distance to town, easy for boat rental. There is a great supper club downstairs with a friendly staff (btw: noise from the restaurant is not an issue at all)The property is clean and so unique. Perfectly set up for a family vacation with multiple generations as it feels like three distinct living areas between basement, main floor and upper level. They have every feature / amenity you need for a memorable family trip - docks, kayaks, fire pit, grill, game room, etc.Lora is a tremendous host. “We celebrated a birthday at the Bridge Inn and it was the PERFECT couple of days. Such wonderful amenities, clean rooms, and the coffee bar in the lobby is missing nothing! The two cleaning gals we talked to were so very helpful and friendly. They are certainly essential to this place. The patio/balcony is a private little area to enjoy morning coffee on, watching the river come to life each morning. We are coming back to celebrate our anniversary because this area has everything we want,……
