“Just as described..quaint, charming historic tavern/restaurant along National road. We arrived in time to catch a last serving on a Sunday evening. Food was delicious—Service was terrific! Our check in could not be smoother-used electronic—and hostess was as welcoming as can be ! The floor plan was unique yet easy to follow—the complimentary cafe/bistro hallway was ideal for hot/cold soft beverages andnicely supplied quick b’fast to go in the am. “The property was "fine" but not "excellent" for a family of 5. Decor was interesting and thoughtful. Drapes in second bedroom were pretty sheer and let in a lot of light, not private for changing clothes. Stairs will hurt your feet if you aren't wearing shoes. Whoever sleeps on the couch will probably not be too happy. It isn't a sofa bed. It's a sofa. Amount of kitchen supplies including flatware and bowls was sparse. I think this property is ideal for two people. Some nice touches including……

“Three of our adult children live in Morgantown, with two of the three families expected we wanted to find a place to host a family holiday. This property was perfect providing a place to gather and entertain our kids from town while offering a plenty of space for our two out of town children and mother-in-law who stayed the weekend. “My family loved the history and charm of Victorian Orchard. We we so pleasantly surprised that the house was decorated for the holidays complete with a decorated tree and Christmas music playing! We even had a white Christmas as it snowed the first few days we were there. We had plenty of room for all the family who planned to stay. We hiked, visited Ft. Necessity and Braddocks grave, Kentuck Knob, Cucumber Falls and other beautiful vistas in Ohiopyle. Was a perfect Christmas! ”
