“We stayed one night and this hotel was awesome. First, they allow a 11:30 am check in which is rare. We were visiting friends so we dropped bags off and came back late night but it was convenient be able to do so. The room was immaculate and even though the bathrooms are shared, you get the full bathroom to yourself when you use it. The location is great just outside the ferry terminal. “Gave an extended weekend trip to my sister and brother in law for their 59th birthdays. They had an amazing relaxing time. They are repeat visitors at the Palms because it is second to none on Ocean Beach. Bicycles, beach chairs, umbrellas provided making it stress free. Staff is always accommodating including assisting with luggage at the dock. They took their own boat and the staff still met them and assisted. They had one glitch, the AC in their room suddenly went out (which is……

“Not sure about the other rooms but mine (rm. 200) had the air conditioning set to ECO MODE and that is disruptive when sleeping… the inconsistency in the air flow would wake me up when it would shut off or turn back on. Sometimes it would not turn on until it got hotter in the room…did not get great sleep. Overall, the hotel is nice & clean in a great location with friendly staff. Just the A/C needs to be turned off ECO mode to better sleep for visitors. ”

“Great experience. The hotel is one of the cleanest we have been in LI. The neighborhood was safe and it felt like we were guest at a house. We were received very nicely and quick. The room was super clean and the bed was comfy. Its an old Inn so the floors are a bit crooked but nothing major. The bathroom was surprisingly nice for an old Inn. There was no AC (again its an old Inn) but the weather was cool outside so cracked open a window and it was nice. The Inn keeper offered us ventilators……
