“As a single older woman who loves adventure, this place was just right. It was more spacious than I expected with everything I needed and more. The decor was creative and calming. I had privacy and felt very safe. Susan is the host with the most, anticipating every need, and the second day back from exploring the beautiful Maine coast, I was pampered with a plate of fresh baked cookies. Highly recommend and would visit again without hesitation. ”

“Exactly as described - beautiful apartment, in excellent location is pretty Hallowell, one black off the main commercial street.To top it all off, there was a pint of whole milk in the fridge - I used that for my coffee - great!!! (I don't like artificial coffee whitener') so this was an unexpected treat. There was also a bottle of wine in the fridge (I did not use or take) - I don't know if that was left by a previous visitor or by the owner.”

“Twin Ponds is a lovely location on a beautiful pond setting. Lovely landscaping and plantings with a walking path around the pond. We totally enjoyed our stay here. “Because VRBO made it impossible to update my email address, I did not receive the latest news from the owner that she had changed the code on the door lock. That meant calling to get help before we could enter. because we were there in the off season, we were able to park in a space near the unit. In high season having to park 3blocks away is not ideal. Unit very clean and comfortable. entrance not welcoming. ”

“My spouse and I recently spent our Thanksgiving holidays in this little gem in the heart of downtown Brunswick. We were immediately made to feel welcome by Susan, and the houses felt like home to us. Thoughtful amenities were everywhere. There was a great reading selection - art, music,literature, vintage children's books. Best of all for me was the baby grand Steinway tucked away and ready to play. So cozy and warm. We will be returning for sure. Carol & Peter”

“We had a fantastic stay at Bowhaven cabin! It was extremely clean—truly spotless—and clearly very well cared for. “GORGEOUS house and view! Very spacious and accommodating. Things you should know before booking is that it is about an hour away from anything and everything. House could use some more TV's if you're going with children, pinball machines did not work and neither did "workout equipment" which was an elliptical and treadmill. One of the showers did not work and some of the fans that were provided did not either. I think its a tad over priced for its distance to do things but the views from……
