“The house is cozy & comfortable. Our group of 6 adults & 2 children felt right at home. It is clean & well stocked with kitchen & bathroom items. The barn was a nice surprise - everyone enjoyed games of ping pong, cornhole, & basketball! The owner was attentive & responded quickly to any questions. We enjoyed nearby attractions & restaurants. A wonderful week!”

“Our family stay at this home was absolutely PERFECT! We had 4 generations in the home for our daughter's wedding, which was held right next door. We couldn't have picked a more convenient location for our stay. We all walked down to the venue at times.We loved all the amenities as well, the house was STOCKED with everything! Really enjoyed the fire pit each evening out on the front porch, such a memorable time, thank you Sally~”

“We had such a lovely stay here visiting our Bates student and friends, with our dog. The farmhouse has so many extras for dogs (dog bed, dishes, dog lead in the back, and lots of ducks and chickens to watch!). Lots for kids too - books, boardgames, video games, air hockey and outside stuff. Great setup for cooking and lots of extras throughout. Beds were super comfy and host was very responsive. Would absolutely return!.”

“My family is our daughter (who has Down Syndrome), my husband and myself. We stayed 9 days at the farm house while visiting our sons family in Richmond. The house is very comfortable with plenty of room. My husband left early to return to work leaving our daughter and I at the house and we felt very safe. Everything you need is easy to find in the house. One idea to share is if you are coming to watch tv you might want to bring your fire stick to give you more options. However we did not……

“My 24 year old son and I stayed here for 2 nights to visit family in the area . Our final destination was Cutler Coast for hiking/camping so we were not looking to to do Maine tourist attractions. Hannah’s place is very special in a wonderful way. The farmhouse is preserved in history while having every modern essential. “We had a fantastic stay at Bowhaven cabin! It was extremely clean—truly spotless—and clearly very well cared for. Kez and Kyle are wonderful hosts: super communicative, welcoming, and thoughtful from start to finish. You can tell they take great pride in the property. The setting is peaceful and cozy, and everything we needed was right there. I’m already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!”

“Our party of 8 enjoyed our stay. The house is well equipped and stocked to get you started. Conveniently located to town and the Botanical Gardens. Plenty of outside space for kids to run around and play. It has a beautiful view of the cove but is very rocky. This didn't stop us from hunting hermit crabs and catching fish. The house is old but that gives it the Maine charm. ”

“GORGEOUS house and view! Very spacious and accommodating. Things you should know before booking is that it is about an hour away from anything and everything. House could use some more TV's if you're going with children, pinball machines did not work and neither did "workout equipment" which was an elliptical and treadmill. One of the showers did not work and some of the fans that were provided did not either. I think its a tad over priced for its distance to do things but the views from……
