It was so quiet you could hear your ears ringing. the sky was clear and beautiful we saw shooting stars, the milky way and just beautiful night sky. if your in to books this is a place to explore. the owner had to have thousands of books and they were all well organized. some of the books were published in the early 1900’s. the host was very friendly and I am assuming that he put a lot of love into building this home. “We really enjoyed our time at Hemlock house. It was well equipped and had plenty of gathering and sleeping space. The Hot Tub was toasty warm at night, and the views with falling snow were magnificent. About that snow… the drive back to the house off the main highway is pretty significant, but well maintained. Before the snow even fell, though the owner called to give us a heads up and let us know a storm was coming in. We had plenty of time to prepare and he even offered us extr time to get out……
