Best of both worlds.Minutes from amazing hikes and views, waterfalls and white water rafting. Cannot begin to tell you how impressed I was with the area and all there is to do.Owner was excellent, communicated well and left prefect instructions for check out.Quick to respond to any questions.Would 100% book here again. ”

“Peaceful quiet area. Camper was comfortable. The host was fantastic and very responsive. All amenities were provided and spot on as listed. If youre a camper and enjoy the outdoors without hauling your own camper this is an excellent getaway.Explored the areas State Parks (Babcock SP, Hawks Nest SP, New River Gorge- did the Bridge walk, Rail Bikes in Elk River a must do, for all ages)Great place to explore. ”

“Using the red lined path, it was a half mile walk to the downtown area and plenty of shops/restaurants. got a reservation at the french goat which was very nice (get the burger) the place was very nice and clean and plenty of towels etc. the artwork was very interesting (in a good way). Keurig coffee machine for morning coffee a plus and they even provided some pods. got some firewood for the firepit but didn't use as in a weird location at the end of driveway somewhat close to the neighbors--.……

“Location for the home was a blessing and a chore. On the one hand there was wildlife (an elusive black bear!) and amazing trails. On the other it took 20 minutes on narrow, partially paved back roads to get there from the main road (19 into Fayetteville). From there you could get anywhere easily. House is very nice and spacious with a beautiful common area. Cleaners might want to inspect dishes better. It seems trusting to me to count on outgoing guests to clean dishes for the next group. Not……

“We LOVED our stay at the Shady Lady on Brownstone Ridge! The cabin was so clean and adorably decorated!! Best of all, the beds were super comfy. :) It was also very well equipped with everything we needed for cooking dinner after a day on the lake. As always, we LOVE Summersville and all of the friendly locals, especially at the Tractor Bar. Such a beautiful place to visit!! We can't wait to come back and stay there again. “We had a great stay at this property. Our family of 3 adults and two kids and two dogs had a blast. The rental had everything we needed and so many extras - tons of games, hot tub, hammocks, corners to relax. Communication with host was super. Highly recommend!”
