“Arrived during a winter storm and the owner worked with snow removal company to clear the driveway.. house was clean and had some of the best snowy mountain views I have ever seen.. waking up in the master bedroom to snow covered trees was just stunning.. hope to return soon (four wheel drive recommended in snow otherwise it’s fine) ”

“Such a charming and cozy property. I knew when we walked along the garden path and entered to be welcomed by the kitchen hummingbird poster it was the place for us. The historic home was gorgeous -the wood floors and comfy furniture plus modern comforts mark this unique property. I can’t say enough about the quality furnishings, art, and other design elements. The live plants are another nice touch-beautiful! The local reading materials were great and so informative- we were reminded to visit……

“This property is exactly what we were looking for. It is remote but close enough to town. Propertu manager was very cordial and the rental is great. We enjoyed our wild and wonderful weekend full of music, food and views. ”

“The house is stocked with everything you need, if you want to make meals for family or if you’re just using it to have a place to stay while visiting the area. The fresh fruit and bottles of water in the fridge, the free pizza from the gas/grocery store next door, the shampoos/soap/toothpaste in the bathrooms were nice added touches of a welcome. “this place was out in the middle of nowhere but was amazing. It was so quiet you could hear your ears ringing. the sky was clear and beautiful we saw shooting stars, the milky way and just beautiful night sky. if your in to books this is a place to explore. the owner had to have thousands of books and they were all well organized. some of the books were published in the early 1900’s. the host was very friendly and I am assuming that he put a lot of love into building this home. “We had a wonderful stay. All previous reviews are accurate. The kitchen was fully stocked if you would like to plan for a big meal. The road up to the mountain was smooth and well maintained. The house is very private /isolated as the community only has a few homes built at this time. Communication for any questions was prompt. We highly recommend this property!”

“We stayed for a week and it was amazing. The area was close to all the fun and beautifull places to visit. Overall a great place to stay!”

“Really liked the property. There were only 2 of us but it would have been more fun with a group. Great outdoor sitting space. It was cold and lots of extra blankets around. If you forgot something it was there for you. The only negative and it is a personal preference is there are other homes around. No one bothered us, we didn’t even see anyone. I felt perfectly safe, just a preference. The hosts were great. Called me to give me some tips to get there. Very appreciated.”
