“What’s listed as a 3-star hotel, I felt it was closer to a 4-star. The rooms were nicely furnished, bathrooms were clean, and the amenities were appreciated by our family. The staff were very friendly and helpful, located in DT Ottawa and only a 3 min walking distance to Byward Market. The Rideau mall was an easy 5 min walk, tourist attractions to the parliament buildings were an easy 10 min walk. The trade offs to being so central to everything are the homeless shelter is a street over and the……

“Hotel is too old and didn't have enough maintenance. Not so grand as expected. According to the interior condition, they seemed didn't concern the feeling of the customer. Won't not stay here again.”

“Very good experience to stay. The room clean and big enough. With basement car park to make to feel my car safe to park. The washroom with show gel / shampoo & conditioner. The showhead was adjustable and water pressure strong enough. And there are also very impressive idea. Never see it in other hotel. A small night light in washroom. Breakfast with a lot options too.but the house keeper opened our door and come to clean up the room directly before we check out. This must be improve. ”

“Very limited parking”

“The room is comfortable and clean. However, only disposable tableware is used for breakfast, which is not eco-friendly. The location is easy to access and in a walkable distance to Byward Market. The only drawback is there are a lot of homeless on the street but they didn’t appear to be threatening. ”
