“This was my 3rd time staying at this location. It is in a safe and easy location, close to the downtown area and train. Quiet and very clean with all of the amenities needed to have a comfortable stay. The host was very responsive in getting back to me quickly in one inquiry made. “This was an amazing trip for me and my wife to enjoy a nice private get away. The property was very clean. The owner Gabe was very friendly and kind their dogs were a delight and very playful happy dogs. The experience overall was very nice for both of us.”

“Our stay at the Black Rock Estates was very comfortable. The place was very clean and the communications and services were impeccable. The price was very reasonable as well. I would feel quite comfortable to stay there again. ”

“I had such a great time in Stamford! Very lovely town and a very lovely property. It is a 15 minute walk to downtown so I’d recommend loaning a car or using rideshare services. The unit also has quite low ceilings, so it does feel a bit cramped if you’re over 6 foot.Overall, a very great unit and communicative hosts.”

“Yes, parking on the street was new to us but we didn’t have any problems finding spots. Because the restaurants are within walking distance we didn’t cook at all. Walked to the bodega for a few staple items, snacks, milk, etc.Unique neighborhood vibe and really enjoyed ourselves. ”

“This was a perfect little spot for our trip out to CT to visit family. It felt very comfortable, clean, and safe, and looks just like the pictures. We will definitely try to come back next time we plan a trip out there!”

“This property is in a friendly quiet neighborhood but close to restaurants and stores, it was very clean, everything needed including seasoning for cooking and outdoor grill area, I could pack lighter next time as it has shampoo, soap etc.. The decor was cool, I love all music! And I really enjoyed listening to the vinyl records. I would recommend and definitely stay again! ”

"As an experienced traveler, I have to rate this La Quinta a ONE out of Five. The facility is too old to use. To open the door, you need to insert the card key dozens of times. The hall way is not flat, slightly uphill or downhill. The drain of the tub is only half-working. When you take shower your feet are in the water. Basin is cracked and glued. AC sound wakes you up every time when it starts. Breakfast is ok, but lack of food after 8:50, it says that the time of breakfast is 6:30 to 9:30. Parking is free and safe, which is only thing make my thumb up. Overall, with $140 per night price, I must say, I was very disappointed by this hotel!!! By the way, the other La Quinta hotels I have lived in are very good."
