“Our stay at the remote cabin was enjoyable and comfortable. The amenities furnished helped make our stay relaxing. There was nothing lacking. We woke to a chilly 38 degrees outside but the cabin was warm. Pat is a fine host! Glad we had a truck to cross the small stream on our way up to the cabin.”

“This Cabin is just WOW! :-) It was the most relaxing vacation we had in a long time. The sound of the creek, the surrounding wooded area, so beautiful. “The inside had everything we needed. There is no signal so you must have everything information wise saved on your phone before you get there. We enjoyed the hot tub and grill. Unfortunately we did not see or catch any fish, which was one of the main reasons for the booking. This is a very pretty area. ”

“So much potential with this one! The cabin was brand new and beautiful. So was the bathhouse. Property is on a busy road with cars and motorcycles zipping by until the late hours. Property manager did not send confirmation until 20 minutes after check in time, I was on the road and couldn’t respond and by the time I got there and realized there was no cell service. I could not access my app to write to request the Wi-Fi password… If there is one? Normally this would not be priority,……

“It was quiet and secluded, and gave my girlfriend and I a chance to unplug from our day to day lives in the city. The place was clean and orderly. Close by was the New River trial which we took advantage of. There isn’t any negative things I can say other than the flood lights were a little too sensitive and were going off all night. Which could be because of our deer friends or just a branch in the wind. The drive up the hill was fun because I have a Jeep and off-roading is its thing. Overall I……

“This charming cabin was perfect for a short escape for our three-person family. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. It is actually very close to major roadways, but feels incredibly remote and quiet. We'll definitely consider this spot for a longer stay next time.”
