“You can see Lake Superior out of the side windows. The area was having a blizzard and we took a x-country route to get there. Big mistake. Taking us41 to Calumet was way better in bad weather. Very cute place. Lots of parking, snow plow service didn't come until we had already shoveled out and headed to town for the day. More and better shovels would have been appreciated.”

“Went to MTU Winter Carnival. 35 min outside Houghton. Great snowshoeing right out the door. ”

“The property is very nice, well located. It was raining when we arrived and there was no sidewalk to the front door, so it was a little muddy. Best to come in the back door where there is a sidewalk, but the keys don't open the back door, so you have to walk through the house. The only real issue is the upstairs shower. The bottom of the tub is not flat and the mat does not help, it just gets squished into the middle. The downstairs shower is fine. We all had a good time.”

“Nice getaway in the north”

“The cottage had everything we needed. Location was blase'. Parking was excellent. The cottage was not sparkling clean but was ok. It could use some paint and a thorough cleaning. We had a great time and the central location made it easy to get to all the things we wanted to see.”
