“Our stay at the four bedroom log cabin was wonderful. We were in town for my son’s graduation from VT and this house was perfect for our family. The kitchen was great and well stocked, the beds comfortable, the bathrooms were very nice! Loved the large outdoor deck with a huge wrap around couch. We enjoyed eating dinner outside on the deck! Two nice areas to congregate with ample seating, one upstairs and one downstairs. The proximity to VT was very convenient, about a 10 minute drive. Very……

“This cabin in the lake is a gem. It’s everything you need and super well equipped and organized. The owner was very responsive. It’s a beauty on the lake with a private dock, a beautiful back porch overlooking the lake, a picnic/grill area with table and chairs also overlooking the lake. It was 25 minutes from Tech, so very convenient. ”

“The check in process was a breeze. The property is beautiful and quiet. We had a situation arise and I contacted the host about additional people. “Our 4 night stay was wonderful, the inside has been recently renovated albeit it looks like some work is still being done in certain areas. It certainly did not deter from the overall experience and the owners have done a great job with the improvements thus far. The kitchen is amazing for cooking and entertaining. The house has an in-line water heater which was nice! The location is 45 minutes from Winterplace ski resort and about a 15 min car ride to most retail restaurant establishments. ……

“We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It’s what we needed to get away for the weekend. The place has everything we needed and it has that simple yet cozy feel to it. We love how quiet it is staying there, the surroundings are clean and it’s that secluded yet close to everything little peaceful place we needed.Host was great at communicating with us as well. Definitely will go back in there for a shot little getaway of peace and quiet relaxing stay.”

“We stayed in this rental for my daughter’s Virginia Tech graduation. I’m 100% going to come back. The property was beautiful, comfortable, and well appointed. The owners were super responsive, kind, and attentive. I only wish we hadn’t been running the roads back and forth to Blacksburg because it was entirely relaxing to sit out and enjoy the creek. We loved our stay and look forward to returning.”

“Awestruck as we pulled into the winding driveway,surrounded by beautiful land,trees and a pond . It was snowing and Gordon! Babbling creek wound through the property and the Cowboy Cabin was deliightful with its fireplace, hot tub etc.”

It's an older building in a rustic setting, but the home has been updated and we found it to be clean and comfortable. The nearby creek is lovely. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.”
