“This was a great place to stay. Great view of the river on the great deck. The house was perfect for the family. I would definitely like to rent for another time. We will be coming down in the fall to go to Va Tech football games and will try to rent again.”

“This was a really nice stay for our family and friends. Location is nice and quiet and access to the lake wqas great. Drive was convenient to local destinations - just be careful on narrow and winding roads. Lots of entertainment options at the property - - pool table, ping pong and video games. Air conditioning worked great. Plenty or parking at property for up to 5 cars if needed. Would definitely stay again! Lots of entertainment options”

“What a great week we had! Space was large enough for all of us and house was pretty much stocked with everything and more. We took advantage of the kayaks, fishing poles, BBQ, and fire pit!! Nice and relaxing between all our Graduation activities! ”

“The house had high end amenities, was very clean, well decorated, and had wonderfully comfortable beds. Although small looking from the outside, there was plenty of room for 3 adults. ”

“The location was quiet and beautiful! A quick and beautiful 10 minute ride and we were at our campus tour! We enjoyed hearing roosters, woodpeckers and a few pups barking in the early morning and seeing the cows across the field and even a few other animals. The view from the back deck was beautiful as was the view from the fire pit! The beds were comfortable, the HVAC and large screen TV made my husband happy and the kitchen and bathrooms provided everything that we possibly may need. Thank……

“We had to move two Hokies, one out and one in to a BB townhouse. Having stayed at the Little Blue Cottage in the winter 2021 to take our Hokie skiing at Winterplace, we knew this house would be ideal for a multi day stay and a place to park our trailer and once done moving, tube the New River at the New River Junction campground next store. We had so much fun and the cottage is ideal. Comfortable beds and plenty of space. The scenery is lovely and we enjoyed watching the egrets over morning……

“Overall this was a great place to stay. We had 5 adults and a toddler and were comfortable. We brought our Cavachon and he did well too! Host was very responsive and great with work with. Only drawbacks, floors were a little dirty. If there was a regular mop, I would have cleaned the floors! Ants around the sink, and strong odor from someone’s previous pet visit. All manageable and I’d stay there again! ”
