“My partner and I stayed for a couple days at this property to visit. It wasn't in the greatest location because it was right off a busy road near commercial storefronts. There was a great parking lot which was easy. The owner was very communicative even when we had some issues booking an extra night. The quality of the furniture and beds was a little disappointing, but overall we had a good experience. ”

“We had a great time at the Olive Branch! The room was well outfitted, tastefully decorated with lots of flourishes and a very comfortable bed. It took a few minutes to figure out how to lock the door when we left, but we got it. Oddly the shower had a cloth shower curtain, but no liner. We were able to use it anyway, but either made a soggy bottom if it was inside the shower, or a wet floor if we left it out. “We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The location was perfect as it was just minutes from the Appalachian Trail and close to downtown, which made exploring and dining out super convenient. “Very cute place to stay at a perfect location to the little historic district of Winchester. Bed was comfortable but very small futon. We are tall people so it was not quite long enough for us. Bathroom was extremely small, doable for us but if we were bigger people it would be difficult to get into that space. Water pressure for sink was poor, shower was just okay. Quaint place with a friendly, engaged owner. We would go back just for the amazing location!”

We did not get check in information, though the host provided it directly on hour after check-in time.The host needs to check in with the cleaners and visit the property. I say this as a landlord. “We arrived in the afternoon before a festival. Main street was closed, but we were still able to access the parking. Everything was clean, and we had a comfortable stay. There were restaurants and entertainment right outside. The only thing not in easy walking distance was a drugstore/CVS. I highly recommend staying at this location.”
