“We were in town for a family reunion. We normally stay in Olean NY and decided to try a new location. I was worried that Hinsdale would be too far out. We were pleasantly surprised how close it was to Olean NY. We enjoyed the views and quaintness the cottage offered. We’re definitely considering coming back for the next family reunion. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and wildlife at the cottage!”

“The cabin was clean and stocked with everything we needed. My 2 boys and dogs enjoyed exploring the property! Good and timely communication with the owner. ”

“The address was confusing because I assume the owner lived at the address on the listing, but "The Lodge" was about 1/4 of a mile down the road from the house address listed. There was also no cell tower available, so you could only text with the WIFI. However, the Lodge was remote, VERY peaceful and Quiet, large and open and tranquil. It was also away from any kind of traffic or any neighbors.”

“Awesome house, only issue was cleanliness of the coffee cups. Most of them looked dirty. Other than that we would definitely rent the home again. I have family and friends who are interested in renting it in the future. Also, lots of food items opened (like sugar, spices) I wouldn't use something that is already opened.”

“Mike is a great host that responds immediately. We were looking for a rustic getaway in the woods that was pet friendly to bring our beloved dog. We enjoyed the yard games, firepit, walking in the creek/woods, and just hanging out in peace and quiet. ”
