You can tell they put a lot of thought into this hotel when they re-designed it. We’ll definitely be coming back and making this hotel a part of our family tradition every year.”

“Shearwater has been our “go to” spot for years. Over that time, we have noticed that there are more and more little things that need attention. For example, coat hangers on the wall that are very loose, loose shower handle (feels like it’s going to come off), squeaky bathroom door, etc. They are little things, but for the price per night we paid, I would expect more attention to the small things. Still a wonderful place to stay and we love having our sliding door open to listen to the ocean. ”

“Seems like all the rooms have ocean views and the views are excellent. Picnic tables and grassy area to relax on cliffside so you can enjoy the beach views without going down to the beach. Beach access on the property two flights of stairs the first has many steps and is quite steep. The beach was very clean, quiet and not very populated. Our room was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We will definitely stay again in the future!”
