In 1996, Mondavi opened his winery in the hopes of producing wine that would be some of the best in the world. Previously, he had worked with his brother and father at another winery in California, but split off to form his own after disagreements on vision.

“Great location and walkable to many restaurants, shops and boutique wineries. Rooms are clean, however we were placed in an ADA-compliant room (maybe bc I booked on Expedia) so shower wasn’t as convenient but they had a nespresso coffee maker, and fresh baked cookies and waters in the evening.
