Great hotel
"Had a lovely 2 night stay in a very comfortable deluxe room with a sea view. Would have preferred a king size bed. I noted that pillow protectors weren't used which is a shame especially with covid still ongoing. The toilets in the lobby were in need of a clean on both occasions when I used them. ..."

"The property was adequate for our needs but the whole place needed a thorough clean and some tlc. Garden furniture was in poor condition and only 4 chairs outside for a property that accommodates 14. Plenty of plates and cutlery, cups and glasses. Don’t think we’ll be going again."

"Great stay for four nights. Good accommodation, easy access, good communication from the host. Quirky old building, make sure you visit the museum to understand the history of the bay. Well located for walks to Whitby and into the moors."
