“After a week in Tropea we needed a change of peace and we couldn't have picked a better location than "Al Grande Gelso". Even before our arrival our host Genesio helped us to receive a package from Sweden and greeted us upon arrival in a welcoming manner. A nice spotless and air-conditioned room with presteen linnen bedding gave us comfortable night. Next morning we were greeted again by Genesio but also his sister Rosetta. “Our stay here was short but was wonderful because of this booking. The Boutique hotel is modern in an old world setting and a short block from the beach and the castle. The street has so many places to eat and shop. It was a great place to spend a couple of days. It was hot and we drove in and parked a couple blocks away but the owner kindly took me in his car to ours to bring our baggage and he brought it to the room. He let us check in 1/2 hour early as well. ”
