“While the property is peaceful and quiet, just minutes away there are so many fun, interesting things to do. We’ve stayed on several of the San Juan Islands, but San Juan Island itself is much more slow paced than most. The house has a beautiful, tranquil view, and the bed is extremely comfortable (and I am picky). We were on the island early and were thrilled to get a text message saying that the house was ready early (3 hours) and we were welcome to come anytime. The one recommendation I would……

Hot tub is welcoming, kitchen is equipped for some cooking, and the towel warmers and heated floors in the bathroom are so nice this time of year. Perfect weekend watching bald eagles fly by from the hot tub, watching movies, reading while listening to the rain and venturing into the village. ”

“We visited in the Dec. off-season and found a very comfortable, clean & airy cabin. The photos were accurate as well as the description. Great view of the Sound just 20' away. Made a good base for hikes on the island. Cabin rentals are a little pricey but the hot tub and proximity of a well-stocked resort store are 2 of the justifications.”
