Handy car park at rear, need instructions to use tv, clean and modern refurbished room and bathroom with hardly any original features in this old building. We stayed in Cathedral room which is up narrow steep staircase, facing the road. Handy location for Portsmouth with the stress of parking removed.”

“What a wonderful place! Very friendly service by Dole! Yummy home-made breakfasts! Quiet at night with quality beds and bedding! Sparkling clean bathroom. Huge bedrooms. Central location within 2 minutes walk to York Beach and Harbor. Host freely shared information about the surrounding area, including restaurants, beaches, parking, directions, etc. We absolutely enjoyed staying here, and over the years, we have stayed in many lodgings -- and this trumps them all! We intend to return!”

“The property was perfect! Clean, quiet, cozy. Great yard, close to town and beach. Everything was great! Only thing was there were no trash bags and the tv was difficult. I would like to see them switch to steaming services. The water pressure is awesome. Everything was very clean and stocked. beds and couch are super comfortable. Fire pit and declare awesome !We will be back!!”
