“I can't speak highly enough of this stay. Firstly, the photos do not even do the view justice; it is better. Expect that you will wake up above a beautiful cloud inversion nearly every morning, watching the sun set over the mountains with beautiful different colors every day. Easy nearby hiking is abundant, featuring beautiful bluff trails, mountains, or rolling hills. We visited in April, and the weather was consistent and beautiful; it truly felt heavenly. “Ryan and his dogs, Bourbon and Cider, were excellent hosts. They greeted us and made sure we had an enjoyable stay. If rest, relaxation, and peacefulness is what you’re needing, I would highly recommend staying at the Vista house. The view is spectacular! ”

“Beautiful spot, charming and comfortable house!”

“Very cozy with everything we needed during our weekend staying in Santa Margarita. We came to Santa Margarita for a wedding and Shari's place was just a mile away from the venue. The cottage was thoughtfuly decorated and she even left us a couple delicious pastries from a local bakery. The place was spotless, quiet, lots of blankets, towels, and everything in working order. I loved the print outs w/ maps and lists of local restaurants and attractions too. 10/10 will reccomend to anyone who plans……

“The property was nicely updated, interesting layout with the kitchen upstairs. Was not aware there was no A/C on the property until arrival, however the property management was excellent in communicating and purchased a personal fan the next day after I arrived.”

“This property far exceeded our expectations. It was extremely clean and well maintained. Beautiful place to stay. The rooftop area was our favorite to have coffee on in the mornings looking at the ocean. Close to downtown area and in walking distance to most things. ”

“Nice location to various interests. Wineries, down-town, Tin city or grocery store (not too isolated.)Accommodations were good- however the place could use a little re-fresh (attention) when compared to other properties at the same price point.Peaceful. Comfortable. Plenty of towels and blankets etc.The farm animals were a real highlight of the stay and we were permitted to visit them.”

“Liked the size and layout of the house. Beds very comfortable. Updated interior very nice. Immediate answering of phone when I called twice with questions. Especially loved the location as near restaurants and wine and beer pubs and a deli. Was a little noisy sometimes in early morning with saws or drills! Cars also noisy. But not downgrading because of that because I loved the location. Inside bedroom you could hear noise but it didn’t bother me Would definitely stay same place again. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Gathering Place. It is beautiful, comfortable, convenient to the beach and esthetic. It easily accommodated our family of 7 adults. Every morning we had our coffee on the huge, comfy couch in front of the picture-window, watching the waves roll in - or out on the upstairs porch enjoying the fresh air. Walking into town and to the beach was pure pleasure, and the wonderful, swooping swallows all nesting under the nearby bridge were mesmerizing. Everything you need……
