“After a small glitch to begin the stay, which the owner responded to quickly, it was a pleasant stay. The living area, kitchen and dining area are very nice. So is the front porch and the fire pit is also nice although we did not use it. The half bath on the first level was a nice plus. The stairs to the second floor bedrooms are a challenge for elderly ”

“We needed a last minute place to stay for one night and this place fit the bill. The place was clean. The amenities were sparse but we didn’t need to do any cooking. The only issue was that the apartment is right above a large industrial electrical outdoor trash dumpster and workers were disposing of trash at 3:00am. The machine was loud but the workers were also audible. It happened again at around 8:30am. Not sure if this is a daily activity as we were only there the one day. ”

“It is certainly a cabin in the quiet woods which you would normally find in northern Vermont. We loved everything about it. My Three Sons grew up tent camping in the Yale Forest and this was that, only with a log cabin replacing Eureka tents! We loved sitting around the massive firepit and feeding the flames with plenty of seasoned, dry hardwood, cooking several meals on the coals with pie irons and steak prongs. Just loved it. ”

“The house really sits on its beach with a rock surrounded natural pool at high tide. The weather was CRAZY with rain and wind. The house held the temperature and was comfortable as the temps dropped below freezing! FYI the 4th bedroom with the trundle bed hasn’t a door so hence not a lot of privacy. But we were all good friends;) it was a comfortable space for 5 women who were good friends”

“This was a great spot to stay with my wife, another couple, and my dog! The house is small - especially downstairs. But it is extremely well thought out and space is used as effectively as can be. “I needed a large space for my bridesmaids to stay and get our makeup done for the wedding and have a casual rehearsal dinner. This house was perfect. The neighborhood looks a little sketchy but we had no problems at all. Didn’t hear any noise. The only thing that I would say is that the couches were a little worn and could use a good shampooing. The floors also weren’t very clean. After walking around our socks were black. I would still recommend this house for large groups.”
