“It’s a good choice for staying near the lake. We stay there for a couple of days every August. It looks like the rooms were upgraded since last year. Beds are comfortable. Pillows are really, really comfortable. No restaurant in the building, but it shares a parking lot with Shoney’s, where they have a fantastic breakfast buffet. On the other side of the building there’s a convenience store with a couple of restaurants. Desk staff is always friendly and accommodating. ”

“This is our fourth Postcard Cabins stay (second in Talledega) and we are fans for life. We love the feeling of total removal from normal life; never having to see/speak to other people and just being completely alone. It's the most rejuvenating getaway for us. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who needs a retreat and unplugging!”

“Location was great. Hotel was clean. The rooms were clean. What I didn’t like was the loud tin noise coming from under the bed everytime I moved in the bed. The keys to the room gave a lot of issues. Sometimes it work ‘ sometimes it took numerous tries to work. Drain in the bathroom sink needs drank. The toilet had an extra loud flush noise. Other than that I enjoyed my stay there and I would stay there again. ”
