“Good quiet”

“The room was clean although dated. The beds were very comfortable. The area isn't the best, not dangerous, just more of an industrial feel to it. The breakfast was less than average...but it was hot. Biscuits and gravy were part of breakfast. Biscuits left a lot to be desired. In truth, not sure if they were fresh. We would stay there again, as quality sleep and costs are our most valued requirements.”

“The room with jacuzzi tub was great. The room has a good view of the river. Everything was clean and updated. The only bad thing was we could hear our neighbors next store snoring through the wall in our bedroom which made it difficult to sleep. ”

“Front desk lady Madonna was super sweet and helpful. Couches in front lobby could use some updating- they’re covered with old, worn out couch covers. Kinda like walking into your grandma’s house…but not in a good way. ”

“I didn't get to stay at the property. The owner never gave me access. Never communicated at all via VRBO, email, text, or phone. I called the owner and owner was not receiving voicemail. I called VRBO. I have a case number to try to get a refund. I had to stay at a hotel. I never received the access code or communication. Very disappointed. Waiting a refund. Hoping I am not ripped off.”

“The location of this property is great. You can walk to many of the attractions. If you are sensitive to cats this would not be a place to stay. Two cats live in the property. Cats are not in the rooms but they are allowed to roam the property in the middle of the night. One enjoyed letting us know he/she was up and wanted some company early in the morning. Communication with the host was very good. There could have been a little more offered for breakfast, There was coffee, tea, juice, yogurt……

“The bed was so comfy. Breakfast was a delish 3 course meal. Staff was very attentive. Beautiful piece of property also.”

“This motel is more than 70 years old. The owners have made significant upgrades to a very old motel. Room looks nice upon entry and it was impeccably clean. The bed was possibly the best i have encountered in years. What you cant change are 2 foot by 2 foot showers, and a lack of heating controls during the cold months. It's an old central baseboard heating system for the whole operation. Staff was helpful and pleasant. This motel is a good budget option, but its still very old.”
