“Our accommodations were quaint, cozy, and comfortable. Kudos to the owner for thinking of everything we would need on hand during our stay. Only a couple of issues - the ad mentioned central air. It was a window unit. No big deal as it cooled down the cabin quickly and considerably. The other thing is distance from stores and other towns. We had to drive a lot, but it was my choice to pick where we stayed. All in all, it was fun. Felt a little sad when we left.”

“This cabin was the perfect cabin for my family. We spent thanksgiving there which the kitchen was fully supplied with cooking accessories to cook the meal. The living room was very spacious for all of us to hang out. The cabin is surrounded by state land , so we did not have to go far. It was perfect for what we needed it for and very affordable.”

The river is beautiful, the neighbors are friendly and the cabin has everything you need to enjoy life in NE Michigan. We kayaked the river, had a nice bonfire overlooking the property, sat on the porch and watched the sunset. Breakfast On the blackstone while drinking coffee and soaking in the views was pleasant. “We rented this property based on its location to the area that we’ve been hunting white tailed deer for over 40 years and we a short commute to the woods. What we were pleasantly surprised by was how responsive our host was to any question or need we had. The house was clean and very comfortable, we all the essentials needed for cooking our meals.”

“No issues, private and quiet. Inside and out was like new, host has done an excellent job providing a nice property to rent. We ran to the Chateau, The Duck and Mulligans for food and the Brewery for a beer on the rooftop and breakfast at the cabin. Bought firewood down from the Chateau and enjoyed a fire each night. Rode the Black mountain atv trails and did around a 100 mile trip. Color in full swing and warm temps. Hit the campground boat launch to watch the sunsets and the Supermoon our……
