“We had two families (4 adults and 4 youths) staying at Ben’s’ place. This was a great house for exploring Red River Gorge and the hikes in the area. The house was very clean and the pool was an added bonus for the kids when we came back from days activities. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms great and comfortable. For me the only minor downside was that the pictures don’t show it’s actually located along a relatively busy road which I could hear in the mornings from the bedroom BUT……

“The cabin was very clean, hot tub was nice. We only used one bed but it was comfy. The host had to talk us to the correct cabin, we ended up at the wrong one due to GPS not registering the address just yet. She was very helpful. The roads were treacherous, especially when you met other drivers. ”

“Had a great stay here. Clean, well equipped, and quiet. Only criticism would be the master bedrooms bed frame wasn’t very sturdy and made the mattress sag. Overall would stay again though!Also, if staying in the winter, would be a very rough approach with definite need for 4 wheel drive vehicle”

“We chose the property because it looked clean in the pictures and has a hot tub -it was very clean and we enjoyed the hot tub after hikes and a day of climbing. The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable -my husband has back pain and kept saying he wished he could take it home with us. Overall, a great experience! ”

“Absolutely amazing. Ended up having our cermony right there on the property at the fire pit, due to all the rain. Amazing views, caretaker was amazing. Communications were super simple and quick responses. ”

“Lovely place for my husband and I for a getaway. The place was clean and well organized, they had everything we needed. They asked that you bring your own shampoo and toothpaste, I would recommend also bringing some cooking oil or butter and your own coffee. We got to watch the lunar eclipse, it was beautiful! My highlander had no problem getting around the terrain even after the rain. The hottub was amazing after a long hike! I would definitively visit again, highly recommend. ”

“We love visiting the gorge in all seasons. Winter provide beauty in the icicles and snow covered landscape. This was the coldest we had experienced. The cabin walkway was snow and ice covered making it difficult to get gear into the house which we chose due to ease of access. The cabin was very clean and bed linens and towels were new. The kitchen was well stocked with4 days worth of ground coffee plus’s a selection of k-cups. Spices and cooking oil were provided. There were plenty of……

“Enjoyed our stay! Listing was accurate. Location easy to get to but semi/private. Plenty of comfortable beds for everyone. Large enough to spread out and have us all in same area at the same time. Would recommend again especially if you have a bigger group! ”

“Rent this cabin if you want something secluded, but yes, other cabins in area. For evenings it has a huge covered deck with a swing, a glider, and lots of chairs and tables. AND a hot tub to relax aching muscles. Turned air conditioning to 70 & it cools house even if 80F outside, maybe bring a fan to move air upstairs. Fit 4 adults & toddler comfortably with plenty of hot water available for all.”

“Absolutely loved this anniversary getaway! Property was beautiful, all amenities and more. So peaceful in the midst of the trees and the hot tub added a nice relaxation after a day of hiking. Recommend 20/10, would definitely stay here again. Close to the Gorge as well, short drive. Best host response’s time we’ve ever had staying with Vrbo! ”

“Hot tub is great. House is nice. Does need some work to the floors Spear bedroom needs a TV The outlet on the deck does not work The door from the kitchen to the basement doesn’t lock. Deck needs some work done to it. The water hose is terrible. We did have a good time and the house was nice over all. Just need some repair work done to it. ”
