“We completely enjoyed our time while staying at this home. The comfortable sectional near the fireplace was perfect while we had conversations, built a puzzle and viewed the lake. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of pans, utensils and even spices. The beds were comfortable and the home was clean. This was a great place to stay and for our group, relax. ”

“Great location for Leech Lake! Cabin is right in the middle of 3 public Lake access that enter at different points of the lake. Cabin was clean but not prepped for our arrival. Beds are very firm as we are a plush type of mattress people. The cabin had a band-Aid or very clinical smell to it. The local town was very cute and we enjoyed ourselves there! Lots of great little restaurants and shopping! Thank you for the use of your cabin we enjoyed ourselves. ”

“Had a great weekend for our annual guys trip. The property was perfect. We were able to fish, watch football and hang out outside all weekend. Brenda responded to all of our questions right away. The house was everything we needed. Definitely one of our favorites after 8 years of coming up to the Longville area for this trip. Everyone enjoyed it, we will be back.”

“My family and I have stayed at all three of the Sanctuary lake houses, and are always impressed with the attention to detail and all the amenities. The new Blackwater Lake place is really amazing. The dining room table is huge with a great view of the lake. The living room had plenty of seating for everyone, which was great for gathering and playing games. The game room and home theater was a life saver when it was raining - the kids loved the laser tag. Having exclusive use of the pontoon……

“We really enjoyed our stay and the property was great. However there are some quirky things about the property that people should be aware of. The kitchen and lakefront are the stars of this property. The basement is the downside. The floor in the basement is similar to a garage floor, not really finished and our young girls didn’t want to sleep down there because it was too cold. There were also many outlets throughout that didn’t work. Another issue is the lack of a kitchen table. There was a……

“The house is a bit smaller than the pictures made it look .still a big place we had a large group . If your taking a large group bring a big frying pan the pans are small and u will need to bring paper towels & garbage bags.the kitchen has plenty of dishes. The house is nicely decorated. They had fun going fishing in the boat but caught fish from the dock as well was kinda theres a bit of weeds for swimming although the small grand kids enjoyed the sandy beach.also wadeing in the water it rained……
