“The stay in Casa di L'Alivu was excellent! The host is very friendly and helpful and the check-in and checkout was very comfortable. The room - we had the maisonette suite - was much to our liking. It is not the most modern furniture, but it is practical and charming, and did the job very well. The windows are a bit harder to open, but they do all work, the bed is very comfortable. For the more than fair price of the stay, it was perfect. The property is stunningy - beautiful Olive and Citrus……

“Zunächst möchte ich den Service und die Mitarbeiter der Rezeption loben. Flexibel gutes Englisch und immer ne Lösung für die Anliegen der Gäste. Die Zimmer und das Hotel Ansicht sind sehr sauber . Das ein oder andere (kaputte Klodeckel, Schmutz unter dem Bett ) waren die einzigen Dinge welches zu bemängeln waren. Das Hotel liegt sehr abgeschieden auf einem Berg. Gute Kondition ist daher vorausgesetzt da man hoch und runter über viele Treppen muss. Bis ca 800m entfernt . ”

“Palazzo antico elegantemente ristrutturato di proprietà della stessa famiglia da tre generazioni. Con molti dipinti di uno dei proprietari e con pareti direttamente decorate. Non c'è l'ascensore. La nostra stanza un pò piccola e rumorosa poiché affacciata sulla via. In pieno centro e prossima alla piazza San Nicolao e di fronte al porto e a circa 500 mt dalla fermata del bus x l'aeroporto. Colazione semplice, solo dolce, e buona.”

“Reviews about this hotel seem to be either great or awfull, nothing in between! So, to start, no this is not a 5* hotel! Maybe 3/4*. However, to be fair the price is not 5* either. It is a nice hotel, luxurious in it's age no doubt (50 years ago?) but still pleasant and in a great location just 5 minutes walk to the old city. Certainly it is not in a slum as someone reported. Walking distance to the train and ferry. Our room was small and had no view but the shower was great. Staff were……

“Accès très très difficile, sans indications ou d’informations pour trouver la chambre d’hôtes. Aucune lumière extérieure. Apparement le propriétaire le fait 4 fois par jour mais nous l’avons jamais rencontré, aucune explications ou de détails concernant la chambre… Concernant la prestation , matériaux de qualités mais aucune finitions ( plaintes de la salle de bain se décollent, cuvette des toilettes HS…) Nous avons été réveillé à 5h du matin par le jour ,pas de volet ou de rideaux sur les……

“Sehr schön und ruhig gelegenes Hotel. Nur das Restaurant läuft auf Sparflamme Anfang November. Man bekommt Frühstück oder Abendessen wenn man möchte, muss dies aber im Zimmer einnehmen. Da wir dies nicht wollten, waren wir auswärts essen. Super ist die Wassertankstation für Trinkwasser.”
