“We needed separate bedrooms, a stop that would get us through the snowy passes at the optimal times, a midway point on a long interstate road trip, calm and quiet, safe and away from noisy freeway or sketchy neighborhood s. I must have looked at 150 other options until this spot popped up.This little cabin in the woods, as the kids called it, was everything we needed. Great location,, lots of space and personality. Curt was very responsive and had a fire going in the wood stove when we came in!……

“We loved it here and hope to come back. The river is the main character and the historic cabin makes this a perfect getaway. If you don’t appreciate a little rustic charm you may not enjoy it as much as we did. There are plenty of amenities like the hot tub and sauna. We enjoyed sitting on the deck every night and watched the spawning salmon. There were many books about the area. The host checked in on us which was so nice. We loved the area and can’t wait to return. ”

“This was my first time getting anything that was not a hotel and I gotta say Rosie was amazing. She had everything you could think of and everything you forgot to think of. She also had these amazing fuzzy robes for option of purchase AND she made us some amazing homemade chilli and cornbread. She was very attentive and yet allowed us our privacy. We will 100% be staying here again!”

“The cabin was new, attractive, and had fabulous views from all but one of the windows. My teens and I enjoyed skipping rocks on the river just a few steps from the deck. The electronic keypad lock was super easy and convenient. The couch is very comfy and the TV was excellent. Easy to login to several streaming services. The bed was on the soft/squishy side of comfortable (I generally prefer a firmer mattress) and it was very squeaky. Creaked whenever I got in or out. The sheets were some……

“Perfect place to stay for me and my two pups. The place was clean with a rustic feel even though the inside of the cabin was nicely upgraded. I would stay there again if I returned to the area.”

“The log structure gives the place a cabin feel but, it had plenty of space for my wife and I with 3 kids. The grounds are like a park. The location is an easy drive to Jacksonville, Ashland or Medford. The kitchen was well apportioned for making meals. Check-in/out was great.”
