“We spent very little time at the house as we were in town to visit family who lived nearby. There was an extra heater in our bedroom in case it was needed. There was also a sound machine to help mask any noise from the nearby two-lane highway. We didn't hear much truck noise at all like another reviewer mentioned, and were were there on a Saturday night. The kitchen appeared to have up-to-date appliances and the bathroom has several shelves for placing items given that the pedestal sink……

“Found this when when looking for places to stay for my daughter’s orientation at ISU.Location is convenient, literally 1.5 miles from campus. Check in was seamless, the place, while cute and cozy, was equally comfortable and someplace that you wanted to hang out at after a long day. Hosts were wonderful about communicating and gave some great recommendations. I only got to try the Great Plains pizza (very worth it) but they had some other recommendations we would like to come back and try. The……

“Lovely older restored home with beautiful woodwork in the heart of Boone, walk to everything. Near state parks and the Iowa Arboretum, ISU, etc. Very well equipped and the host communication was excellent. Recommend!”
