“Really enjoyed our stay at The Louise. The staff there was very attentive and friendly during our 2-night stay there. They always had a smile and made it a truly comfortable experience. “We had a lovely one night stay in The Barn and would love to return in the future. This place is a gem! Private, beautiful landscape and very well done inside with high end finishes. Loved the brick walls throughout and cosy, yet high end feel. The jacuzzi tub with nice smelling bath salts and candles was very romantic. Having breakfast provided was a huge help as we were there on a Wednesday where a lot of places are closed. If you are going to Barossa definitely stay here. You will not be……

“We stay here regularly. It’s very central and close to everything we like. The rooms are quite dated but always clean and comfortable. Shower is great. The area is quiet but the walls between rooms are thin and you can hear your neighbours. This is really our only negative. ”

“this Jacobs creek retreet is nothing to do with the wine Jacobs creek. the hotel is located quite far from the major road. room is relatively small. because the houses are very old, and close to the garden. there would have worms on the room floor. barth room is quite dark, though there is a bath tub. garden is very nice. owner is an old couple. “I was disappointed about the lack of options for gluten free food, some hotels offer a gluten free chicken schnitzel, gluten free salt and pepper chicken or a gluten free option for everything on their menu. Also decaf tea and coffee not available with no gluten free biscuits and only full cream milk. I paid the same room price and meal price with no or very little choices.”
