“Really liked this hotel and would definitely return. It’s a fairly new hotel about 10 mins away from Porto Downtown area. Beautiful room and staff very friendly. My only concern is that the waiting staff in the restaurant do not speak very good English. First morning our coffees did not arrive. Second morning my omelette did not arrive and bacon, sausage, Frittata were cold due to sitting around for too long. Whilst each time an apology was made I do believe this service can be made much better……

“What a beautiful property! The rooms are so gorgeous and the building as well...you feel like you are going back in time. The staff is amazing- we were given excellent recommendations by the woman at the check in and followed her advice and saw so much of Porto in 2 days! Definitely make it to the public garden down the block...Cristal Palace...stunning! The music from the restaurant was a little loud but they turned it down when we asked, so that was much appreciated. Breakfast was good and……

“Unfortunately we only were here 2 nights. The accomodation is wonderful and so is the staff. We had a room to the garden with a balcony, it was very quiet, at the same time central. Bus from the Airport stops immediately in front of accomodation, the bus back is only a few minutes to walk. Thank you for this nice time we could enjoy at your place.”

“Incredible stay at Maison Cabral. I cannot praise the property manager Susanna enough for her amazing hospitality. My flight to Porto was canceled so we had to drive from Madrid and Susanna checked on our bags (which had flown without us) and arranged for a late check/in. She gave us the best local restaurant recommendations - go to BB Gourmet and Nicolau- and even couriered over a bracelet that I left behind to my next hotel. The hotel itself is spotless, comfy, and charming in the best way. A……
