“Came up for a few days for some recreational activities at Lake Moomaw. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It felt like home with all the amenities. The nearby creek and the fenced in back yard was a plus. The king size bed was absolutely WONDERFUL. The best nights of sleep I've had in years lol. The host was amazing! “Hinton is a beautiful town that is close to several natural outdoor activities. It also has antique stores and amazing food. The owner of Three Rivers was so nice. He told my daughter and I about the history of the town and the building we were staying in. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. Our "apartment" as my daughter called it was in a secured location with in walking distance to historic down town. It was an eclectic mix of antique/rustic with a wonderful view of the murals on the……

“Clean and newly remodeled. Loved the deck overlooking the river. Enjoyed watching the deer on the little island. Very peaceful. Lots of birds singing. Cool to see the trains pass by. Close To the town Hinton and the Sandstone Fall Nature center. Visited Sandstone Falls , Pipestem and Bluestone lake while staying at this property. Kitchen has everything you need . Has washer and dryer. Had elderly person with us who found it challenging climbing the hill to get to the house. If in the area again……

“This house was nicer than the photos! It was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with implements to make a delicious surf and turf dinner. 1st floor bath had a wonderful shower and the queen beds were great. Host was very responsive and helpful. “I can't say enough great things! This little cabin was so peaceful, exactly what my dogs and I needed! The place is old but well maintained, just what you would expect in a mountain cabin! The yard was cut and easy to walk my dogs in! There is a fire pit and grill, we didnt use them because my one dog is older and gets cold easily. The location is superb!
