“We were looking for a beautiful place with a pool and pickleball court. When we showed up, we got so much more. A fire pit, putting green, two covered areas. One for lounging and another for watching tv and enjoying everyone's company. We spent a lot of nights listening to music and playing games. The pickleball court on site was full size with lots of room to spare. We drilled as much as we could. Inside had multiple rooms to enjoy the game as well as a beautiful kitchen for meal prep. “This motel is on the main road (US-60 or Ash Street) but was quiet during the holiday period. It is ideally situated near Hill Street, which goes into the historic district less than a mile away. Fast food is nearby, as is hiking at Round Mountain Park. El Rey is a self-described "vintage motor court" so looks the part outside. But the interior room was large enough, the bed mostly comfortable, the spacious shower always had hot water, and the wall heater worked well, with the usual humming.……

“This house was beautiful as well as the outside. Check-in was super easy, and the host was really nice and easy to get a hold of. The pool was relaxing and the view was amazing. Very private. I celebrated my 21st at this house, and everyone loved the house and pool.”
