“We had a wonderful time this past weekend at Big Bear! The house is cozy and there is a lot of room. It was on a golf course which we loved as were avid golfers. The fun park across the street from the golf course is a great place to take the kids and get a sweet treat! We love the RV/campground that was also just down the road, it was a great idea if we ever wanted to go camping! The hosts supply you with all of your essentials and more. “My roommate and I came for a weekend of trail riding. This place was perfect! Couldn’t ask for a better location for the trails and local eating/drinking establishments. The place is cozy and clean. Beds were very comfortable! The garage and backyard were such a bonus for hanging out. We will definitely recommend to friends and be back! Nicole was especially nice and responsive to questions. “really quiet and I have a nice birdfeeder right outside the dining room window and you can watch the birds many different species, beautiful porch. You can look out the window in the morning and eat your breakfast and a great dock easy walk to fish and watch the river flow the my room had a overhead ceiling fan, which was awesome. This is a great place to relax and unwind. Highly recommend.”

“To no fault of the property owner, the cleaners had not cleaned or changed the sheets before our arrival. We had to call Evolve Travel, whi had to track down the owner. The owner was unable to get a hold of the cleaners, but was gracious enough to give us the code to the shed where clean sheets were kept. The floors were filthy!!! The top of the toilet tank was off because you had to jiggle the parts for it to flush correctly. The owner had obviosly bought all new sheets, towels,kitchen utensils……

“One of the best properties we have stayed in! Property is secluded,quiet, great fishing, and so beautiful. Trails were fun to walk daily. The outdoor space is perfect! The deck is great for sitting and watching over the water for all the birds, and wildlife. The firepit area was shadded and perfectly nessled under a canopy of trees that served as a rain shield for the 2 days it rained a little. The little beach was so nice too, we swam, fished, and just had such a great time. The A-frame was so……

“Went up north for the holiday weekend to go tubing down the Au Sable River. Cabin was very clean and suited our needs. The land is well maintained. Close to town so you can get some dinner and ice cream. Host responded well to texts and phone calls, but did not get the VRBO messages initially sent so I would stick with communication via the cell phone.”

“Meals out on the deck, hot dogs cooked over a fire, several nice hiking trails nearby. Tricky to find, but clean, secluded, relaxing and comfy bed. Has fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, washer & dryer. Didn’t use all those myself, but someone else may who reads this review!”

“We had an amazing time at this lakehouse with our family group of 15! (We had 8 adults and 7 kiddos ages 4mo-10yrs!) The home was clean, spacious, and beautifully set up, looked just like the pictures — We loved our cozy mornings in the living room and game nights around the large dining table. The kitchen was well-stocked, making meal prep for a big group easy and enjoyable.The lake access was a dream — we needed the zero entry with the toddlers in our group! We will remember peaceful mornings……
