“Inside of the house was very nice and very clean. There were no pictures of the outside of the house to help identify it and with the proper address in MAPS it takes you to 202 East instead of 202 West.”

“We spent alot of time on the back deck enjoying the river, the wildlife, and beautiful views. Also walked our inflatable kayak down to the river for a peaceful paddle. The hike down is steep! Inside has everything you need, except bring your own keurig cups! cups”

“Even tho we were only in the area for work purposes. This place was amazing to come back to. We were able to shower, cook dinner, and relax on the back facing the water. The grill and pizza oven came on handy too! Alex was a wonderful host. If we are back in the area, we will definitely rebook!”

“The property manager was kind enough to let us check in a night early. He only charged a small fee. Upon arriving the house was very clean. We absolutely loved our stay. We will be booking this one again. If you have kids this is the perfect rental. It has a large fenced back yard, lots of beds, and plenty of seating. ”

After looking back at the VRBO ad there was 1 small line all the way at the bottom of the entire page that mentioned that detail. In my opinion that is a very important detail that should have been upfront and bold. I tried calling and texting the owner who initially did not respond. “It was convenience to downtown. It was right around the corner from PicPac. The price was good but there was some issues when we first got there. The heat wasn’t on and wven when it said it was it wouldn’t come on. I had to contact the property owner and the property opener said everything was good but after about 30 minutes of being there, some thing happening and it got turned on. It would’ve not of been a big deal but it was 50° outside. The hot water from the sink was leaking all over the……

“We enjoyed our weekend at the cozy cottage on the Cumberland gap. The only thing I would improve on is the bed that is very creaky. Also communication was minimal. I couldn’t see the links given in the message and the hosts didn’t respond to my question. All good though because it was just as pictured. ”
