“House worked for us - clean and good AC. The ramp in the back next to the dock was great for launching kayaks. We planned our trips around the tide schedule. A dock and water source was helpful for rinsing fishing gear and kayaks. ”

“We've been visiting Cedar Key once a year for 20 years now and I feel like we've stayed in half the houses on the island and most of the condos. But this little house is a favorite: comfortable, cute and quirky. It has that beautiful old-Florida look and feel, which we really appreciate, but enough modernization to still be comfortable for our family. Kids loved fishing off the dock, we all appreciated being able to launch our kayaks and getting to have the dogs there with us just made it all……

“I was not expecting this property to be as big or well stocked as it was. The kitchen has absolutely everything needed to cook anything I wanted to. The sleeping accommodations were more than enough for our group, and the bed was more comfortable than my bed at home. The view is beautiful from the sunroom. The walk downtown is less than a half mile. Best part....pet friendly! My trip was so much better since Osprey's Nest allowed me to bring my furry bestie. He even made friends with the feral……

“The home was beautiful but there is a bit of an issue with the raccoons getting into the garbage can. We had to stack stuff on top but it still would get into it. Be for warned that it has lots of stairs so if you have mobility issues it may not be for you. I loved it tho!!”
