“Great pool area. Restaurant was closed while we were there, but was right next to pool and looked nice. Futon in room was only place to sit to watch tv and was very uncomfortable, but we weren't at Magnetic Island to watch tv anyway. Kitchen had full size fridge, kettle, toaster and electric frying pan and all the crockery you might need. ”

Had the pool near our room hired out for a private function without notice to us till sign put up on gate as were headed for a dip....didnt get any of the $$$ for the private booking shared with the rest of us who payed to stay at peppers and use the pool near our room,but couldnt🤔”

“Run by locals and absolutely seamless experience. Although an older motel, it is perfect. Rooms are clean with easy access. Late check in was no problem and was able to extend my stay with ease! I will be checking Cascade first when I plan my next trip to Townsville! Loved that older style where your vehicle is parked right outside your door. Highly recommend this place if available. ”
