I’m familiar with Winona and knew this home was a modest walking distance from dining spots (Nosh, Muddled Thyme, Blooming Grounds and Heirloom Seasonal Bistro) and Midtown Market. The home itself is compact but clean, modern and functional. I really appreciated the dedication to labeling all the light switches and storage! I sat out in the private patios both nights - no mosquitoes! ”

There is a lock & dam a few blocks from the house that's worth visiting. The house is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, bowls, silverware, cooking & grilling utensils. Every piece of furniture and every lamp tells a story—but what truly made this stay unforgettable was the hospitality of the 80-something host, a former chef, who graciously prepared a beautiful and heartfelt breakfast ceremony for us. His kindness and attention to detail gave our journey a sense of home and heartfelt care. Thank you for not only providing a charming place to stay, but for making every guest feel seen, welcomed, and cherished. This will remain one of the warmest memories of my travels.
