“Great large house with space for everyone. Pantry and kitchen well equipped. Large refrigerator for all your groceries. Propane grill outside for grilling. Kids enjoyed the hot tub. Washer and dryer on site were large to fit all our laundry. Great stay. Grocery store about 10 minutes away. ”

“We had a lovely time! The weather was beautiful, warm and a little rainy at first but on the day we left it was 64*, so we got to experience many facets of lake life. “We had wonderful time spending our Thanksgiving holydays in this property. We would really like to thank our host Mrs. Liz for convincing us to come when we were having second thoughts as we thought that the area and property were damaged by the hurricane Helen. The house is very convenient at all 3 levels and views are amazing. We would highly recommend this property for families (including 4 legged members 😊) who would like to enjoy the beautiful nature NC has to offer.”

Regarding the property amenities, my teenage grandsons enjoyed the gym and basketball court, and we all enjoyed the pool. We had a fabulous time and I highly recommend the Happy Shack to anyone.”

“What a great house at Rumbling Bald! The house is exactly as pictured, with attention to every detail. Although the lake has been dredged, we still had plenty to do and enjoyed every moment spent in the spacious house. Ian was always accommodating and immediately addressed a minor issue we had. Our family has spent a week at Rumbling Bald the past eight summers. It would be difficult to find a finer home at the resort.”

“The place is great! I needed a place to stay for 2 weeks while I was on a business trip in Inman. It was a great place to call home during this time. It’s about 30 minutes from other bigger towns. Very beautiful neighborhood! No trails to hike or anyplace to safely bikes or go for a run. But this is no fault of the property. It’s just how Inman is. I would recommend this place to anyone who is going to stay in Inman.”
