“There were pluses and minuses to our stay. We wanted quiet…check. We wanted views…check. The grounds have a convenience store, and a cafe ( closed Wednesday and Thursday) nice feature. Close enough to Chama, check! However, the communication with the owner was hit and miss and that’s being generous. The website showed another cabin as being available ( and it was not) as well as the promise of AC ( which cabin 5, the one we booked did NOT have making sleeping difficult ) When contacting owner,……

“The studio was a bit rustic but clean and well stocked. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was centrally located to Heron and Trujillo Meadows in CO. In the morning, there was a small herd of deer wandering thru the property. Will stay there again.”

“Overall we enjoyed our stay, we had issues with the water, the smell but it was taken care of. We will come back.”
