“We stayed at Byecross as a group of 10 with ages ranging from 9 to 77. Fabulous stay in a fabulous property with fabulous hosts. The Aga was fine to use and actually makes the best toast! If you are planning to stay at Byecross I would recommend doing a bit of research on how to use an Aga before arriving, and also plan to spend at least a couple of days at the property without going out anywhere as there really is so much to do and explore just on the property grounds and the surrounding area……

“It did not satisfy us at all. We left after 4 hours and did not stay the night as we didn’t feel comfortable to. it was a very tiny place compared to the pictures. The toilet seat was yellow, and there was no evidence of the place being cleaned. It was very dusty and the oven had a dirty pan in there. It looked like food had been cooked on it and not washed.
