“Check-in was contactless and easy, parking was plentiful on property, and house was clean/well stocked with games and kitchen equipment. Located close to many beautiful hikes and fun towns. Only negatives included the host’s requirement of a refundable security deposit, as well as supplemental insurance through VRBO, and the host’s requirement of laundering all towels prior to departure to avoid an additional 25 charge. Overall nice property and communicative hosts!”

“Seclude home. Beautiful pond and flowers. Outdoor shower. Clean and nicely arranged furniture. King mattress very comfortable!”

“We loved our stay at this immaculate log home! The comfy furniture and spacious open floor plan was perfect for our family gathering. We all spent lots of time on the large wraparound porch, that overlooked a private, woodsy yard area. This home is tucked away at the end of a country neighborhood, so very peaceful and quiet. An easy drive to the beautiful Franconia Notch State Park and all the amazing things the White Mountains offer. A couple of our favorites was the Flume Gorge hike and……

“We are two elderly couples who travel a lot together. We have stayed in VRBOS in France, UK, Croatia, Costa Rica, Belize and all around the US. We were very happy with this lovely log cottage. It was easily accessible to all the parks and scenic roadways around NH. It was very private and peaceful. Ample parking. “The property was perfect for our 3 week stay! The bed was extremely comfortable ( we are picky) and the kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. I wouldn't recommend for small children, due to the stairs , but our 5 and 6 year old children were quite content and loved the dock for fishing. There's a beach just down the road that y'all can walk to, and lots of dirt roads and trails for hiking and walking. ATVs can be rented from Berlin NH. Mooselook Diner has the best breakfast……

“We had a very nice time ….house was a good fit for our group……only problem we had was we were unable to get regular TV channels, even after we contacted VRBO…..we wanted to watch the Stanley Cup finals but were unable to…..we go to Franconia every year at this time, so hopefully this issue will be corrected”

“The property and view were amazing. The proximity to excellent breweries, hikes, and kayaking made it a perfect base for us for our vacation. Mornings were spent exploring the nearby areas and the afternoons and evenings on the front porch just soaking in the views of the mountains and property. Bedrooms and propery were very well furnished and comfortable. Would definitely look forward to returninf if our travels lead us in that direction.”

“The house is as advertised. It was nice to sit in the hot tub at night and listening to the owls. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful.While both TVs seemed to have surround sound systems or speakers, we could not figure out how to engage them (and these kinds of things are not new to us). I would recommend that someone write up some directions and leave in each room - it would have been nice to enjoy those features, especially in the big 'theater room' downstairs. Unfortunately the glass……

“Great location in the mountain Lakes area of New Hampshire and the White mountains. Excellent accommodations, beautiful property, and everything we are looking for in a New Hampshire getaway”

“We enjoyed all of the little sweet nick nacks and artwork scattered throughout the home. You get a real sense of a family home where lots of memories were made. Very cozy. There were clear notes left too that helped us find our way around the thermostats, doors, windows, etc. It was a sweet spot to dwell in for our ski getaway.”

“Appreciate that the host worked with us to change our reservation date. Greatly appreciated that the host accommodated our request to check in early. Only bump is that we were not given access information until after we arrived and had to spend most of an hour trying to contact the host to get into the house.”
